What's in a Sarawak Laksa
The Sarawak Laksa is a famous local delicacy.. it's cooked with fresh prawns, chicken stock, spices and coconut milk..
I had this from laksa shackks and it tastes more like curry mee.. therefore i think the original laksa from sarawak will definitely taste better.. anyway it's still nice and the price is absolutely reasonable at RM 10 and below

laksa shack laksa is a crime against humanity. you'd be better off eating sand mixed with detergent liqid
shag : haha.. well for me it tastes like curry mee.. i had it in giant.. anyway..the best sarawak laksa that i've tried so far shud b in restoran gembira, taman megah
Forget about the laksa shack. If you are in KL, try Nam Chuan at Bangsar.
That's the authentic one.
nothing beats the authentic sarawak laksa.
I shall have to try the two laksa stalls in Tmn Megah!
WAHAHAHA.. everyone is anti laksa shack. And so am I! The two times I've been there, twice I've had weeks of food poisoning (my friend who were with me had it too). Their pots are never closed and flies and stuff are prone to flying in and doing their gunk there. Careful when u eat there.
I tried the S'wak Laksa at Restoran Gembira at Taman Megah last Sunday and was quite disappointed. The fried egg strips were burnt and cut in large width (unlike what they serve in S'wak which is thin strips). The soup was very light and not enough "body", taugeh was hardly to be seen and there was no parsley.
I just tried the laksa at Good Luck. Great! My review here.
