Yup. I finally started working out at a gym near to my workplace. That place is pretty cool with new equipments.
I think i did almost total body workout minus the tummy area :) .. haha doesn't matter as the place to focus at is the thigh and arms area. I was told by my personal trainer to go on about 25-30 mins for cardio on 3 different machines and then proceed on weight training on 3 other different machines.
The weight training is supposed to train muscles at some specific problematic areas. He assured me that i'll see results with repetitive cycle of the same exercise (as much repetition that i could take). All i need to do is just to do as much as i could till i can't go on.
As for cardio workout, it's always good to do great amount of repetitions too. I was told to keep resistance level low so that my body won't increase in size and it's just losing fat.

want to lose fat should consult expert like me!
I disagree with the low resistance. I suggest to put it to a comfortable resistance so you burn fat and build stamina at the same time. Zero resistance is just a waste of time.
if you just start working out you shouldnt be going straight on high resistance as ur muscles wont mannage to deal with the pain afterwards. if u set it up too high and keep on going for certain period of time it will result in burning the unwanted fat but will also develop muscles and its not the point of this work out.
