Monkeys at Kiara - An Orange Story
I managed to capture the moment where one of the monkeys is enjoying a juicy orange early in the morning..
Then there was this with a big grin greeting the fella while he was enjoying the fruit.. Nevertheless, he ignored the greet and continue with his feast..
Suddenly, there came one running marathon behind the scene.. the grinning one watched in astonishment..
The marathon runner finally dissapeared..
And in split second, the orange dissapeared too.. and yes, with the one that has been grinning earlier..

A LRT Story on Friday
The LRT was having problem again this morning. Trains have been delayed for bout 40% less than the usual speed. Many been affected by the schedule of the trains and resulting in alot of passangers waiting at the LRT stations for their turn to board in.
Am not too sure of the problem but I could see one of the LRTs remain stationary near to the Asia Jaya Station..

A Delicious Chicken Chop
Chicken Chop
Up Close
Up Close
Chicken chop in black pepper sauce is a common meal when comes to western food. I like chicken chop with thick and tasty black pepper sauce. The best that I've tried so far is the one sold in Paramount Garden by an uncle but he's no longer selling it now.

Chocolates Galore..
I love chocolates. One of my favorites are ferrero rocher and fine belgian chocolates. I don't quite fancy caramel ones or dark chocolates. Anyway the rest are sorta fine for me esp those with nuts like Hershey's Kisses (milk chocolates with almonds)
On cakes, I love chocolate banana cake and moist chocolate cake that is made of pure cocoa powder.
Visiting Tanjung Aru, Sabah
I went visiting the beach at Tanjung Aru again for the second time. The place has changed a lot compared to the very first visit. There are more restaurants at the side and definitely more tourists.
Lots of small little crabs can be seen along the beach. :) They're cute.

Alicia Cooked Sarawak Laksa
Some time ago, I made Sarawak Laksa for the first time.
Ingredients needed are:
1. Sarawak Laksa paste
2. A can of evaporated milk or adequate coconut milk
3. Bean Sprouts
4. Eggs (to be scrambled, fried and then cut into pieces)
5. Rice Vermicelli
6. Chicken breast meat and bones
7. Prawns
8. Assam Keping (Sliced Tamarind? - not too sure of what is it called in English)
8. Salt
Steps to prepare the soup:
1. Prepare chicken stock. Boil water and put in chicken bones and meat. Set aside the cooked chicken and shred the meat. However, leave the bones in the soup.
2. Boil prawns with it's shells in the stock. Once prawns is cooked, put aside.
3. Pour Sarawak Laksa paste into the boiled chicken stock. Stir and let it boil for a while. Take out another pot and use a drainer (I don't know what is it called) to separate the herbs and spices from the soup.
4. Clear soup is then boiled and added with a few slices of assam keping and evaporated milk/coconut milk.
5. Lastly, add salt to taste.
Laksa:
1. Clean dried vermicelli and boil it in water till it's cooked.
2. Drain boiled water from the vermicelli and put the vermicelli into a bowl
3. Clean bean sprouts and boil it in water till it's cooked. Set aside the bean sprouts.
4. Garnish cooked vermicelli with sliced scrambled eggs, boiled bean sprouts, shredded chicken and prawns.
5. Pour laksa soup or gravy onto it and it's ready to be served.
My Fried Rice
Fried rice is kinda basic to me. I've tried various style like putting egg directly, fry the egg first, making it darker by putting black soy sauce, using butter instead of oil and etc.
There are even many types of fried rice. There are kampung (village) fried rice, sambal fried rice and many more. My style? Seriously I don't know. I put just whatever that I feel will make the rice aromatic and tasty.
Ingredients for today's fried rice:
1. a few prawns,
2. some small cubes of lean chicken meat,
3. plenty of garlic,
4. soy sauce,
5. abalone sauce,
6. an egg (scrambled),
7. some mixed vegetables,
8. oil,
9. salt and
10. pepper.
Simple ingredients and yet making it nice.

Tech post - Javascript : Options List
One of the common problems when dealing with 2 different windows in Javascript is updating new values to be displayed on the parent window.
Parent window is the root window which user click and produce a popup window, called "child".
My solution for updating lists concurrently in 2 different windows via selection from a popup window can be seen from the images below.
Consider that your "select" object name is "objectName" and name of the parent form is parentForm. Sample HTML with one existing option in the list:
<select id="parentForm:objectName" name="parentForm:objectName" multiple="multiple" size="10"><option value="123*">[1]-123*</option></select>
To add a new option into the list from a popup window to the parentForm, any of the solutions can be used:
ps: both solutions are to cater for IE. For Firefox browser, try using "try{} and catch{}".

Tech post.. on Javascript..
It has been quite some time since I last post on tech stuffs. So today am going to input a valuable information on Javascript. A simple yet useful function for redirection.
To redirect a parent window through a popup window, following script can be used.

Being childish and a cartoon mania..

Flea Market at Cineleisure, The Curve
I went to the flea market at The Curve and Cineleisure and found it interesting as there are a lot of cute stuffs to offer. Products range from apparels, watches, earrings, bracelets, miniature clocks and many more.
The market is open on every Saturdays and Sundays. Prices of the items sold are mostly affordable and at a reasonable price.
I got myself a pair of self made "pom pom" earrings at RM3. No picture of it in this entry but I think it's cute :P
