Few years back (2001), I stayed in Grand Continental Hotel for almost 2 weeks...
go jalan-jalan nearby, including JOnker's Street very frequently :D
I still remember the antique shops there :D
and not forgetting the Malacca chendol ...

darrenz: I just went to Melaka for a weekend. U can sightseeing a lot and eat a lot for that 2 days :P
Satay celok, melaka chendol, the chicken rice ball, nasi kandar (i think), etc...
