The Block-Checker Trojan on MSN.. Please be careful..

Recently i found quite a number of users got their Personal Computer(s) infected with the block checker trojan..

the block checker is an application used to check status of users (online or offline) and when installed.. trojan will be installed together with the application regardless of whether you're goin to uninstall the application or not..

an infected user will have an auto message delivered to users on his MSN Messenger whenever a chat window is initiated..

therefore, should you find any funny message directing you to install block-checker, please be aware of it..

for those infected, i was told that "avast" antivirus could remove it.. for PC users with some IT background.. you can remove it manually by stopping the app process and cleaning up the registry editor..
